In case of an overdose, such as experiencing loss of consciousness or difficulty breathing, dial 911 immediately. Otherwise, promptly contact a poison control center. – Participate in a diabetes education program to gain insights into effectively managing diabetes through medication, diet, exercise, and routine medical check-ups.
– Familiarize yourself with the symptoms of high and low blood sugar, and understand how to address low blood sugar episodes. Regularly monitor your blood sugar levels as advised, and share the findings with your physician.
– Adopt lifestyle modifications conducive to maintaining healthy bones, including engaging in weight-bearing exercises, consuming balanced meals rich in calcium and vitamin D, refraining from smoking, and limiting alcohol intake. Consult your doctor regarding the necessity of calcium/vitamin D supplements and discuss lifestyle adjustments that may be beneficial for you.
